Bill’s experience co-founding Austin City Limits and Lollapalooza music festivals, along with working as a sports agent to Lance Armstrong, brings top sports marketing, music and events expertise to The Laurel Group. A member of the 1988 US Olympic Swimming Team, Bill also holds a BA, MBA and JD all from the University of Texas.

A former Wall Street Executive and private equity investor, John started his career at Lehman Brothers after getting his BA from Wake Forest and MBA from Duke’s Fuqua School of Business. He then spent over 17 years in several senior roles at Credit Suisse, including President of Asset Management Finance, an affiliate of Credit Suisse.

FOUNDING PARTNER

For over 10 years, Bryce worked as Michael Ovitz’s right-hand man in launching Artists Management Group, an entertainment technology conglomerate. Bryce received his BS at MIT, was awarded a post-graduate research fellowship at Tokyo University in Japan and received his JD from UCLA School of Law where he was Editor-in-Chief of the UCLA Law Review. He also brings technology, real estate and hospitality expertise to The Laurel Group with experience investing in and running companies in those sectors.

ANALYST

A USC Marshall School of Business graduate, Jolie started her career working for a family office investing in health and wellness companies. She also has M&A and PE experience in media and entertainment.

FOUNDER & ADVISOR

Upon graduating from Harvard Business School, Michael worked as an investment banker at Solomon Brothers and DLJ. He was President, COO and CFO of UGO Entertainment, an online lifestyle brand that sold to Hearst Corporation in 2007. In 2009, Michael launched MCM Venture Partners, a boutique investment banking and consulting firm advising businesses and their leaders across multiple industries with a distinct focus on media and entertainment.
